Maddy Alfonso

Development Analyst

Maddy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Community Development and a minor in Business. During her time in school, she built a strong understanding of the fundamentals of real estate, including development, finance, and community planning. She also served as President of the Real Estate Development Association at K-State, where she strengthened her leadership skills, collaborated with

peers and industry professionals, and expanded her knowledge of the development field.

 

She gained practical experience working with a local developer in Manhattan, KS, where she assisted with Moderate Income Housing and Historic Redevelopment projects. Through this role, she was able to see how development projects are planned and executed, while learning more about housing initiatives and property revitalization efforts. This experience confirmed her interest in pursuing a career in real estate development.

 

Maddy has a clear interest in the development and design process and is motivated by projects that positively impact communities. Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling to different places around the world.
