Caroline Hurst is a Development Associate at Overland Property Group. She manages new development occupancy & financial operations from award through stabilization; working closely with third parties to ensure we are adhering to all state agency and legal requirements. Her strengths are in strategic thinking, financial analysis, and relationship building. She enjoys the fast paced, competitive environment of the affordable housing industry- and is proud of the communities we serve.

Previously, Caroline was selected as a Teach For America corps member, where she served as a 9th grade algebra educator in Jackson Mississippi. After leaving the classroom, Caroline started her professional career with McCalla Raymer Liebert Pierce, a corporate law firm based in Roswell Georgia. There she led a team as an Operations Supervisor, managing third party real estate closings, and internal operations. She holds a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, and a certificate in Kansas Insurance.

Outside of work, you can find Caroline spending time with her loved ones. She is a big advocate for authentic street tacos and will always take you up on a good book recommendation.
